Some of us are finding this great option for a universal remote at the dollar store and getting it home only to find there are no instructions. This will help!!!
This is for a Universal Remote Greenbrier International Inc. model - 110064 (6 device, six device remote control) purchased at the dollar store.

You are THE BOMB! Thanks for posting this!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your post

You're the only person I have found that actually had this posted online. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteDang...this WOULD be awesome IF you could actually read it...thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteIf you have trouble reading it either:
Delete1- Click the image (it should enlarge). Then hold down the CTRL key (or command key on a Mac) and scroll up with your mouse wheel. This will enlarge the image and make it more visible.
OR
2- download the image and if necessary zoom in using picture viewing software
The pamphlet itself was very difficult to read even on paper. Perhaps that's why it ended up in the dollar store?!?!?

I have been searching for the last half hour for this dang thing lol. We just bought one of these because we have a Phillips DVD player with no remote. The print on the manual that comes with the 6 in 1 remote is so small that I couldn't even see it properly with reading glasses. What were they thinking? I'm still not sure how to get this thing to work with our DVD player. It seems to work most of the TV functions already, but not all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteHey, I figured out if you right click over the fuzzy image and then select, open in new window, you can actually read the booklet.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting this. I was furious that a universal remote wouldn't include the codes book, even if it cost only a dollar. Thank you , thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank You!
ReplyDeleteBless your Heart for posting this! You are a doll! XXOO
ReplyDelete{I pity the fools that don't know how to open an image on your page}
Great Page design by the way!
Has anyone figured out how to "enter" a setting in a menu with this remote? Most remotes have a button in the middle of the arrows for entering commands.
ReplyDeleteGuys, find the image you guys would like to see, right click it and select "open link in new tab" then click the new tab if it does not pop up and you will be able to read the image even ZOOM In Its Awesome!!! Thanks Anonymous for figuring this out.

ReplyDeleteI guess we can`t expect much for $1..but ,seriously,Dollar Tree should be ashamed including instructions with this remote that are typed this small..I first thought it was a joke...I couldn`t even read them with a magnifying glass..Thanks so much for your post! It helped me get my remote working!
ReplyDeleteOMG .... SO grateful..... U rock!! Mine didn't even have instructions... Thanks so much....
ReplyDeleteHave not been to successful with setting this remote, please help. I have a Sony .
ReplyDeleteSony TV hold while holding down Set press TV1 and release both buttons while red LED light is on, press 0 using the center button marked 0-/10 which is zero, press 0, press 0 for the third time. Red LED stays on meaning code 000 was accepted. Aim at Sony TV and press Volume up or Channel Up as a test. If no response then try next Sony codes: 001, 012, 013, 014, 024, 045, 046, 061, 073, 097, 181, 192, 202, 204, 214, 222, 245, 246, 283, 244, 364, 375, 384, 396. My Coby TV was not listed but worke using 358 for LG, and "TV/VCR" button acts as Sources. I found 358 for unlisted Coby while trying all 300 codes starting 300, 301, 302, 304, 306, 312, 317, 321, 322, 323, 325, 327, 334, 335, 336, 377, 339, 340, 341, 342 (very common), 345, 346, 347, 354, 357, 358 (LG Coby), 360, 361, 362, 363, 365, 367, 368, 369, 372, 373, 374, 375, 376, 378, 380, 381, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, 388, 389, 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, 396, 397. My new code list has 13 pages, not five. Printed AUX column shows 3 columns below it CD/LDVCD, DVD/DVR and Air-con. Lacks OK, Back/Previous, Info buttons.
ReplyDeleteCorretion: Red LED light goes OFF after successfully entering a three digit code, it does not stay on. Blinking red LED means three digit code entered was not accepted, and a different code needs to be entered. Menu button does turn on Menu, however due to lack of arrow keys left, right, up or down cursor cannot be moved, and due to lack of OK button no selections can be made. This makes Menu button useless. Same problem limits trying to use TV/VCR to select a different Source since cursor cannot moved and OK cannot select anything. Only buttons that work are: Mute toggle button, Volume VOL+ VOL-, Channel CH+ CH- and Power, and the numeric keys to type in a channel number. Zero 0 key is marked 0-/10. Buttons 1-/11 and 2-/12 do nothing on Coby TV using LG code 358. Possible one code between 359 and 397 may work better, but have not tested those codes yet.
ReplyDeleteI found the easy thing to do is press the set button and whatever device your wanting at the same time light should stay on. Then press set again light will flash then press power till turns off. Then press device button and your all set. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks to all who figured out (and shared the knowledge in 2012 and 2013!) regarding these two troublesome items:
ReplyDelete1 - To see the instructions, just find the image you want to look at, right click it and select "open link in new tab". Then go to/click the new tab and you will be able to read the image, even ZOOM in! Awesome!!
2 - A real easy way to set your device up is to simply, make sure your device is already turned ON, and:
a. Press SET and a device button (TV1, TV2, VCR, SAT, CBL, or AUX) at the same time. Light will remain on.
b. Press SET (only!) ONCE again. Light will flash.
c. Press POWER continuously until the device turns off.
d. Press & release your selected device button (see #a), and you're all set!
Thank you so much. A big help on a day that has been filled with small frustration. D.

ReplyDeleteThere's no SAMSUNG
ReplyDeleteActually, SAMSUNG is on image six at the top of the RIGHT column.
DeleteGood luck! :-D
I've got a Durabrand DVD player. I've tried every way to set the remote to it, the only way that comes close is the Quick Search, and the only thing that happens is an info bar comes up along the top of the screen. Hitting the power button gives me different options for the info bar, such as the scene and time left of the movie. While I'm in this mode the buttons on the remote do not correlate to their function. Example: Hitting play just makes the 'unavailable' hand show on the screen, meanwhile, video (right) is stop, and 2/-12 is title/menu screen.
ReplyDeleteI've done the Device Code Display, and I get 072. When I enter these numbers the LED light stops, but the remote doesn't work. I've enter 183 as well, does the same thing. I enter random 3-digit code, and it blinks twice like it's supposed to.
Any ideas?
The numbers on the paper supplied with the remote are: 345 & 346. Any luck using those Sam Esch?
